The place is not great on decor BUT the food is very very good and the price is great. Go for lunch if you want value
After going to Living Waters spa for the day, we stopped here at Jeff's suggestion and ordered to go. It was fine, nothing earth-shattering. But we haven't found great Thai in the desert yet- we'll keep looking. But in the meantime, we enjoyed Thai Palms overall.
Food was okay...had better. No Service, which means very bad service for someone new to the DHS area. My buddy had produce sticker on pepper in which we notice 5 minutes into his meal (dinner), the manager wanted to remove only $2.00 dollars, but I told him that we would only pay for 3 out of the 4 meals, but... I have a friend who says that you can determine the quality ofmamgood Thai restaurant by the quality of their Pad Thai. By this standard I would stay away from this restaurant. This is a pretty great find within the Desert Hot Springs area - the pumpkin curry is ah-maz-ing! They usually deliver, but tonight were short-staffed tonight - it was definitely worth the drive/wait! One of the best Thai places I've been to.

Our first try with Thai, my husband and I found it while looking on Trip advisory. The restaurant website has pictures of the dishes, Loved it, so good, large portions, enough leftover for lunch the next day. We did not dine in, but brought it back to our hotel.
We had seafood curry, sticky rice, coconut soup and green papaya salad. All were freshly prepared and nicely seasoned/spiced. The service was a bit slow, but the great company kept us entertained.
Good selection of tasty meals (more than enough for a 'doggie bag'), the menu clearly defines spicy and normally seasoned food, fast and friendly service
I can only comment on the food as we ordered takeout. I phoned and placed an order for Thai vegetable rolls, green curry with shrimp and some dish I believe they called the Volcano (it had a bit of everything). The person said it would be ready in 10 minutes, and it actually was. Large portions, too much for 2... More
