Amid the bustle of Culver City is this sidewalk cafe that gives you just enough space off the sidewalk to people watch but far enough from traffic that you don't feel like you could be part of a vehicular accident. Some fun and crazy drinks (and expensive) like an expresso in a chocolate-lined martini glass. The gelato was excellent but... More

Just back from Ugo's - initially expected a gelato cafe, but was pleasantly surprised with the dinner menu - we shared a very nice caesar salad, then two entrees: sand dabs and linguine vongole - both of which were delicious - excellent taste and pleasing portions. We started off with temptations from the gelato selection, and then were too full... More

At a holiday party. The restaurant issued credit cards, which we used to pour wine samples from about 25 or more bottles inverted in holders. The costs of these were in the price of the party. It was a kind of New York City automatic diner where you insert your quarter and get a sandwich. The difference is that these... More

In the bustle of downtown Culver City we found delicious classic italian food - great authentic antipasti and pasta dishes, and delicious main courses.

My fiancé and I stayed at a hotel right near by and just happened to go to this restaurant for dinner some evening. It was in October, the weather was warm, we sat outside, very cosy atmosphere with candles, etc, great service, we ordered the sirloin and got a really great steak, cooked exactly as ordered, lovely sides and sauce,... Delivery Service is HORRIBLE. It has been 2 hours and my food is still NOT HERE. I called in 4 times and was lied to by the person who answered the phone the first time. I spoke to the manager 4 times and he was not completely honest either. I am really disappointed and will never have ugo deliver anything... More

I really enjoy my lunch at Ugo.. I had a Shrimp pasta and my date had the lobster ravioli. Both were prepared very well. I had a very refreshing white wine sangria that went very well with my meal at the suggestion of our waitress.. And I was tempted to sample the wide variety of Gelato that they have in... More

Tasty food at reasonable prices. I've been for lunch and dinner many times and never been disappointed. Dinner provides excellent romantic atmosphere. The service is always warm and attentive. They are game to make entree suggestions. The only hard part is picking which gelato to have for dessert!

I have eaten here before, but my recent lunch was noteworthy. I ordered a salad, but got the wrong one. I decided to try it, without complaints. Shortly into it, the waitress came to note the mistake and offered to change it. I agreed. I got to try two different salads and both were tasty with exceptionally fresh ingredients. A... More

One ounce pours served from a pre-paid cashcard operated machine sounded pretty questionable till we tried it...again...and again...and again...and...well anyway you get the picture. About 40 wine varietiesthat were nicely selected, well poured and provided a great experience. Pretty tight if a big group comes in and huddles arround the sevice machines as other patrons are blocked out a bit.... More
