This place was outstanding. We ate here for lunch and had excellent pizza and came back the next day for supper. We had ribs that was a new special for the day and they were absolutely outstanding. The cook even came and wanted to know what we thought.
The service was attentive and friendly, despite the busy lunchtime bustle. The setting and the decor made for excellent ambience, and the food was spot on (and good value, allowing for the area). All in all, a pleasurable experience and I would recommend it to any Carmel visitor.
This really used to be an outstanding spot-cute and fresh for the special place to go to with your friend and lover for that intimate experience. Alas, it has gone just a bit downhill. We used to be able to make it work pricewise by sharing several of the large dishes, but they have sort of downsized the serving sizes,...

Dropped in for lunch. This apparently is Belgian-owned, looks primarily to be a bakery, pizza, bar place. Very cool location on the corner, neat window dressing, old bicycles and some very old bread on display. Large wine selection, great sourdough bread, loved the small baguettes. Nice cabinetry, old French looking furniture, used for the restaurant perfectly. We had superb roast...

Brought Mom here last Sunday for lunch at 2:00 pm. Hardly anyone there but waited for a table and received no greeting. Waitress didnt come for a while and no one took a drink order. Bread only arrived upon third request, and way too late to enjoy with the soup. We were completely ignored and felt really snubbed. There were...

We arrived late for lunch and managed to park near the restaurant. It was still busy and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The tables are close together, but this was not a problem for us. We ordered the burger and the mushroom pizza. Both were absolutely amazing. the pizza was the best I have tasted in a very long...

La Bicyclette was our first stop in Carmel. I thought that it carried the characteristics of Carmel which is warm and chic. The menu has a Mediterranean touch. The service was good and attentive. It is a good choice for lunch if you are visiting Carmel.
Great menu! The decor is very similiar to a french bistro, etc. Very cute silver trays and sugar cubes served with coffee. I heard that the owners are the same as CasaNova. I preferred La Bicyclette. The pizzas are awesome. I also ate breakfast here and had a egg dish with potatoes and kale. I dont really love kale and...

We were showing my visiting father round Carmel and found La Bicyclette by chance. We were on a rather small table for the three of us but we ordered their daily bread selection which came with some truly delicious, fruity, locally pressed olive oil for dipping. To follow that we ordered a couple of pizzas to share between us: the...
