I sat at the bar with my friend, not expecting much but the chef Tom took really good care of us. His Spicy Spicy roll was amazing. This is my favorite spot for sushi in Los Angeles. It's "California-style" sushi - incredibly creative, lots of sauces and rolls - so it's not for the purists. Think Nobu without the attitude or expense. The decor is warm and unpretentious, the service is friendly and fun, and the prices are extremely reasonable!
