See, this place is very hard to rate. The people watching and the scenery is second to none. Feels very old Hollywood, which I loved. The staff was a bit disorganized the day we were there but friendly and welcoming. I asked for water 3 times. Finally, my husband got up and got the water pitcher himself and poured me... More

The Polo Lounge history alone makes a visit worthwhile. Its a room with a past. On the night we visited there was a music performance by an extraordinary one-man-band. At first I thought I was hearing a record, with bass, keyboards, guitar and saxophone and was amazed to see one person performing all these functions at the same time, and... More

Why did I come here to get gouged? Drinks are outrageous - $17 for a baileys + coffee? The truffle popcorn was decent, but I wouldn't recommend this lounge unless you are on an expense account. More

I'd like to start by saying we eat in some of the best restaurant's in town. Lately we've had great meals at Joe's (Venice), Locanda Veneta, Angelini Osteria, Boa, Katana and Il Postaio just to name a few. We came for a Friday lunch and for sure the scenery, patio, and overall decor is nice, as is the Piano, but... More

Easter brunch... If only the flip flop foreign families ate in their rooms allowing the magic of this legendary location to flourish more fully... but its beautiful brunch time and the band is warming up. All may be forgiven. And it is. More

On my January 2012 stay, the service was more than excellent! The food was the same, thankfully. I do like it very much. The waiters make your meal and your time at the Lounge seem like you are the most important customer there. More

Just as I was complaining about how old and uncool the vibe was....Jimmy Fallon walked in. Yes it's old and tired, but still has a cool feel. More

We wanted to explore this beautiful hotel as we almost stayed there and heard lovely things about it. We went to the Polo Lounge before dinner out and had really terrific and inventive drinks. We walked around the lobby and the beautiful gardens and checked out the other bar first, but settled on this one as we had read about... More

My husband and I had afteroon tea here on Saturday. We do this anywhere we go. We had not been to this well known place so decided this was as good a reason as any. The overall impression is quite good. The tea selection is good though not a large one. The scones were exceptionally good and the sandwiches were... More

We took a spur of the moment decision to have lunch at the Polo Lounge to finish off a lovely trip and it was a perfect end, good food and great service. We sat outside with the blooms and sunshine. It maybe be old school but it is a great school! More
