The food is very good and the service is excellent. The location is ideal, right downtown. I have eaten there several times. It is great for Bakersfield! Not of the same level as NYC or Boston or San Fran

We were travelling thru Bakersfield, on the day of my wife's birthday. Based on Tripadvisor's reviews we decided to search out Uricchio's. It was worth the effort!
The calamari was delicious. Light batter with nice favor. My wife had the fish of the day special
which she said was excellent. I had the veal which was O.K. and the gnotti...

I've been eating Italian food all of my life. I don't know the variety and availability of Italian food in this area. Back home - this would be good food. Perhaps it is remarkable food here? If you're in the mood for Italian - worth a try.
On a recent Tuesday I decided to try this place after hearing rave reviews. The hostess couldn't have been more charming . The place was packed but I was seated immediately. The waitress I had was a gem and worked the room like a real pro she obviously was. Started with a Caprese Salad. I was assured the tomatoes were...

Excellent food, service. This is THE place in bako for Italian. No need to look any further. Clare, the owner and Host really makes this place click. Hoping someday they will have a Draft IPA to top it all off with.
Love the crab cakes they are my favorite and really enjoy the night time atmospher. The people working there are always polite and make you feel at home.
Took my wife there for her birthday and the food and service was great. They even gave her a piece of cheesecake with a candle in it. We had a great time. Calamari was awesome
Quaint little place. When the weather is right I enjoy sitting on the patio. The food is fabulous. It is a small place, been there forever and the food is top quality. I would recommend this to everyone.
Have now been to this restaurant twice, and both times have been disappointed. Granted, my 3 1/2 years in Rome make me very picky about italian food, but this is less than average for American renditions. Take the bruschetta, for example. They prepared it like pizza! And when I said something about it, they did not understand what I was...

After all, this place has been around for years. Nevertheless, I just can't figure out the attraction. It had been about eight years since my last visit when I went in December and it was pretty much exactly as I remembered it. It's tough to talk with so much noise. The food wasn't bad, but pretty forgettable, not much nuance...
