We stopped in for lunch, had read about this place on a website. The best part was not the burger, the bread is homemade. sooooo good. I had buffalo burger and hubby had the mark burger , both good but the bread.... I would have...rated it excellent but a couple of things went wrong. They were short handed for a Saturday lunch crowd. Bussing the tables was a delay so we had to sit by the door, was cold. No one to man the register so delay with many trying to leave. The food came quickly once we were waited on. And one woman obviously either didn't feel well or didn't want to work there. She was snarly. One other who was mainly in the kitchen came through with a smile on her face and asking if things were good. I think they were having a bad day. Would have gotten pie, but I think it was too busy of a place to try that.More

Get pie. Whatever they have and order pie first in case they run out. Get your burger with the homemade bun. It’s delicious. When you’re done, head next door and buy some yummy candy. I recommend the chocolate bark!

The homemade bread makes a good sandwich. They advertise homemade pies but the crust is store bought. We ordered the pecan pie and the pecans were over cooked, they offered to bring us another kind but after we asked about homemade crusts and they told...us that none of the crust was homemade, we declined. This was very disappointing.More

This little restaurant has become a favorite lunch stop for us when we travel through the area. Hamburgers on homemade buns. Yum! They have daily specials that are inexpensive, filling, and delicious. Yesterday, I had a hot turkey and cheese sandwich, and a bowl of...vegetable soup. Sandwich on homemade bun, had generous amount of meat, with lots of cheese melted on top. The soup was really more of a stew, since it had hamburger in it, but it was warm, flavorful, and chock full of vegetables. Great choice for a cold day. I was sorry I didn't have room for desert because their pies look so good. The staff is down home friendly. You have to wait a little bit to get your food because this is no fast food restaurant, but it's well worth the extra few minutes.More

Was here a couple of months ago. Great little sandwich shop. I had the Bbq sandwich my husband had the Ruben. The Bbq sauce was too sweet for my taste but the meat was nicely smoked. I tasted my husband's Ruben and it was great!...They make homemade pies but since we had just visited the Kopper Kettle candy store next door we passed on dessert. We plan to go back soon.More

If you want a great sandwich on homemade bread, this is the place to go! Order a Dagwood and try to squeeze the pile a meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato in your mouth. If it is strawberry season, you must order a strawberry pie! It...is a small building that fills up at lunch time, so I suggest going just before or after the typical lunch hour (11:00 or 1:00). It is only open for lunch and closes around 3:00More

Went there before 7pm last night [Tuesday] and the restaurant and candy store were shut down with no explanation posted. The HOURS sign listed it as open. All dark inside.

Really great homestyle spot. They make their own bread and it's wonderful. I love the beans and cornbread and the pie is fantastic. Friendly service but pretty small dining room. Go next door to the candy store next door for something for the road. If...you like classic diner type food, sandwiches, burgers, chicken fried steak, etc plus pie, this is the place to go. Amazing value for the food you get as well.More

A good friend of mine introduced me to Kopper Kettle about 6 months ago and boy is it good. Today makes my 6th or 7th trip and I have eaten something different every time. The sandwiches are delicious, but be sure to save room for...a slice of pie. Your mouth will thank you for stopping here.More
