I have eaten here many times in the evening but this was my first Sunday lunch and it was excellent. Three courses for £18.45, generous portions, well cooked and well presented. It was all very tasty. The girls who served the food were friendly and polite. I cannot find fault. I would definitely go again and take visitors there. More

I have a vested interest - years of 'doing' the Friday folk club (not organising, it organises itself these days - musicians and singers from all over the Borders arrive to make whatever happens, happen!). But we have not dined at the Cobbles for years, simply because we don't eat out when at home, reserving that for travel and business.... More

Our family recently travelled from Chester and London to our daughter's spring wedding in beautiful Kelso. We were fortunate to choose The Cobbles Inn for the Wedding Breakfast which was held in their private dining room. Annika made the organisation of this important event easy and enjoyable. The food was superb and the service was excellent. The staff were extremely... More

Six of us had dinner here 2 weeks ago. Place busy as usual, but we had pre booked so all was well. The staff explained to us prior to ordering they had a staff shortage in kitchen due to illness so we may have a wait for food. However, this proved to be not a problem as we noticed no... More
