I stopped off here on Christmas Eve. There was a lovely open fire to sit by whilst waiting for lunch to be prepared - home made soup and "doorstop" ham sandwiches. Lovely traditional pub.

The Red Lion really is a great pub and serves the best real ale for miles around. Great decor and very helpful and friendly staff. If you are after a good pint of beer this is the place to go. It has not done accommodation for years, but hopefully that will come in the future.
