A bit hidden away, Garden Cafe is a nice find. It seems like they are busy, and reservations are needed. They seem a bit 'exclusive' and insincere. I feel they cater mostly to the winter visitors and less to local people. I did enjoy my sandwich and the outdoor seating. It could be a special place to bring someone visiting... More

the Garden Cafe is a delightful experience. True, but our last visit was for breakfast. Our friends ordered basic breakfasts, but I had to have Eggs Benedict. My husband and friends got their order in a timely manner . Mine didn't come. I inquired, it didn't come. Finally our server announced the cook didn't know how to make the required... More

Being a native doesn't guarantee you a seat, but if you're in the area, and don't mind a rustic patio setting, stop here. The wait depends on how busy they are, the mgr could be friendlier, but the help/servers are friendly and busy. The food is okay (the soups are fresher), prices above average, but the location tricky.

We found this place entirely by accident, as we got lost en route to another place recommended by the visitor center. However, it was exactly what we were looking for. The ambience is rustic and artsy with lots of flowers and caged birds. All the seating is outdoors, shaded by umbrellas or ramadas. We came at lunchtime with no reservation... More

We decided to visit this restaurant on 4/4/13, their website NEVER mentioned that reservations were a must, the lady in charge and maybe the owner was in a very BAD MOOD and WAS RUDE, due to the fact that we did not have reservations and that phone calls have priority with her, she was ALLOWING us to be served and... We read the reviews before coming here and decided this would be a great place for lunch. Our waitress, Nubia, was very bubbly and friendly. As far as the food, it was just ok and not what was stated on the menu. The menu stated that the turkey was roasted every day and fresh. The 2 sandwiches we had, the... More

Shared a lovely ladies lunch with a friend while we are in Yuma. The garden was beautiful with all the bouginvilla in bloom. The service was wonderful. The food was average with the exception of the Waldorf Salad which was superb. The club sandwich is described as having fresh roasted turkey from their own kitchen. It certainly tastes like deli... Rustic, but fun place if you don't mind birds. Food was reasonably priced, I thought, and above average, but not excellent. Service was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. It is hard to find above-average restaurants in Yuma for breakfast and this was a nice surprise. It is located in Old Town, in a historic building that is... More

Good food but expensive!!! Friendly people. A bit of a wait to sit down. We did enjoy our lunch with family!

On a very very windy day as we travel to Florida, we stopped in Yuma to eat. Having been thru here before the food choices are not great , just the usual or greasy. So we were quite relived to find a healthy fresh choice this time thru. The seating is outdoors thru a very funky artsy courtyard with a... More
