Stayed locally, food for breakfast and dinner were well prepared and tasty. Some Navajo influenced dishes were served and were wll received.
I ordered the burrito; there was a choice to have it on fry bread. It was delicious and more than one person could eat! The wait staff were genuinely friendly.
We liked the convenience as it was located in the hotel where we were staying. We also liked the service - everyone was friendly, courteous and always on hand with refills or answers to questions. We ate breakfast and lunch there and enjoyed both - tried mutton for the first time! Special Thanks to Ephraim, Tommy and Kim!
This place has an American menu that also has some Navajo specialties on it. It appears that most diners order one of the latter. In our group several people ordered the mutton or beef stew, and one got the Navajo burger (two large beef patties on fry bread, with fries). We had breakfast at the Diné Restaurant each morning of the three days we stayed at the Quality Inn. The breakfasts were good, fresh, and tasty. The coupon offers you a choice of 3 different breakfasts, including your drink. You can either have one of them, OR you can apply a $5.95 credit to anything on the menu. Drink is still included. On the... More
We ate here with a tour group and really enjoyed the lunch buffet. There were many interesting dishes to try with a variety of Navajo and Mexican-inspired options. If you are passing through Window Rock, a place definitely worth visiting, plan it so that you can have lunch here.
QUick service in the morning for breakfast. Wonderful food. I liked the lunch buffet especially. I head dinner at this restaurant one night and even got to try a Navajo specialty--Mutton Stew.
Dinner and breakfast were okay. The service was friendly and efficient, but the food was definitely uninspired. There don't seem to be any other options in town for dinner, so this is about as good as it gets for Window Rock.
We enjoyed three meals here. First was the basic free breakfast which was just fine and a nice change from the repetitive chain hotel free breakfasts. Wow a real egg. If you like big breakfasts, you will have to order extra but it is relatively inexpensive. We had blue corn pancakes. Yummy. We had steak and a Navajo taco for... More
