Steps away from the hotel entrance, serves all three meals. Dinner ok but the appetizers we ate after playing golf were outstanding.
Get the salsa trio! Great serivce, prompt service of food, and very accomodating of dietary restrictions (they will make items for you off-menu or on the other (i.e. room service) menu if you ask). Breakfast and dinner were delicious!
Mature servers, very professional, already a good sign. Serene setting, classy. Prices reasonable. I had two appetizers as my dinner: Mexican prawns on risotto, after which I was full, then cactus quesadilla with chicken. I could not finish but delicious. My husband ordered NY Strip and was cooked perfect to his boring well-done specification! Which is hard to please him.... More
only happy hour on Monday-Thursday! They have a bar menu, but it is only discounted during happy hour. You have to pay full price ant other time. The food is good, but pricey.
We had Mother's Day Brunch at the Ahnala. It's a very pretty dining room in a nice southwestern setting. The brunch was good. Maybe not quite as extensive as some in the area, but also not as expensive. The prime rib was excellent and the sauteed vegetables were outstanding. A nice selection of desserts were offered as well. We need... More
This is a lovely restaurant with excellent service(Sean). The filet was tender and had a wonderful taste and the prawns as an appetizer made for a terrific meal. The corn chowder was very tasty and the deserts(only 4) ended a perfect meal. The cost of the meal didn't exceed our expectations, but is on the high side for the area.
I had breakfast here four times during my stay at the Radisson Fort McDowell and every time the food was great. It's a little on the pricey side, but it was really good, from the French toast to the omelets to the "Whole Grain Delight" which had surprisingly plump and tasty berries in it, much better than I was expecting... Wife and I staying at Fort McDowell resort and this is the only restaurant in the hotel (there are other options in the adjacent casino - all too noisy). But here we got a very good meal at reasonable price and good service to boot. Halibut for me and Chicken Marsala For m'lady (each w risotto and broccollini). Caesar side... More
Our recent lunch was good, but nothing really remarkable except the desert. Ambience/Décor: very clean, and nicely decorated (4 Stars). Service: the waitress was very nice, but obviously new as she did not seem to know a lot about the menu. (3 Stars) Food: Wife had the Ahnala Burger ($10 & 3 Stars) and reported it was OK but not...
