Good value and lots of food for the money. Closes at 8pm? Adjacent to Hilton Phoenix suites and light rail system.

The half chicken was amazing. The corn, beans and cole slaw were very tasty as well. Portions were large enough that my wife and two kids and I could share two meals and had plenty to eat.
When in town I usually stay at the Hilton on the corner. Looking around, there aren't many options for food. Stopped here one night while walking back to the hotel and found the BBQ to be pretty tasty. It does look like a little bit of a dive, but I've often found that those are the places with the best...

Tad pricey. The meat was nice, tender lots of flavor. Potato salad was made with red potatoes halved...I got 3 pieces of potato and a lot of goop. I think potato salad and coleslaw in a BBQ place is just as important as the meat.

Great after a Spring Training game. The sandwiches are very lean, no chunks of fat. Easy location to find. Not bad for a Mom and Pop shop
I always like to try a good BBQ place when we travel and Honey Bears was great. It was so good, we even came back before we left. Great menu and personal service.
Honey Bears Barbeque looks like it could just be a hole in the wall with mediocre food, but it is not. Yes, it is small but the food is amazing! The bbq pork is delicious---not fatty and with a great tasting sauce. I often dream about the peach cobbler as well :)
Just witnessed some kid get punked by the staff after THEY messed up his order. Seriously the most unprofessional humiliating thing I've seen. Food was decent just a really horrible staff. I noticed a couple other reviews here sating the same. wtf.
Just good bbq, no frills. Not inexpensive either. They were at Barrett Jackson last January as well; ate it then and enjoyed it!
