La Monumental was recommended by the chap in our hostel as an unpretentious, not spectacular looking local food haunt....but importantly, somewhere the Salta locals would eat. We couldn't stay away. We ate here 2 nights in a row!! This is the La Monumental Pizzeria and Parillada.....not the fancy one with the white tablecloths.
