Tasty food, I had the morcilla balls and ossobuco. Really enjoyed my meal. The waitress was lovely and really attentive. One of the best meals on buenos aires (been here for 5 weeks).
Simple and casual but great menu and good wine advice. I come here every time I come to Buenos Aires. I first discovered it in 2006 in the book "Restaurantes de Buenos Aires - los recomendados". It is important to make a reservation to be sure to get a table. There are a few options for each course and sometimes... More
The attention was great ad food was very nice. I had chicken with passion fruit sauce, that was delicious. The wine list by glass is simple with the best garage wines at low prices. We did not have the menu, but they have a 3 course menu for on 75 pesos. This is a great deal in BA.
For the last 14 years, Federico has been the head of this restaurant’s kitchen, which offers signature dishes and a gourmet midday menu for a more than reasonable price, along with half a dozen options of wine by the glass, which have been carefully chosen following quality, good taste and matching criteria. Social Paraíso focuses on creating a sybarite, but... More
The food here is goood. We called about 1 pm on a Sunday and asked for a table of 5, they said sure and we showed up 30 minutes later. It got packed around 2. The fixed-price dos pasos (appetizer and main course, both smaller) were excellent. Our choices were salad, leek soup, or terrine to start. Locro, baked white... More
The food and atmosphere at Social Paraiso were exactly what we needed after several heavier meals of great local steaks. Try the prawn appetizer, it was unbelievable!
We enjoyed our meal at this restaurant very much. Everything was cooked to perfection and the dessert was pure bliss (coffee semifreddo). We liked the fresh, simple atmosphere. It was full on a Sunday at lunchtime but you did not feel it was "busy". Soft music playing in the background and a slight breeze coming in. The menu is not... More
This is a small restaurant in Palermo that was recommended by an Argentine friend. We came at a not very busy time for a late lunch. The dish that we enjoyed the most was a grilled chicken cooked to perfection with risotto. The wine by the cup was very generous. Service was great. This meal was a great beginning to... More
It was our last night in Buenos Aires after a two month trip round Argentina. We met some friends who suggested this Palermo restaurant for a change from the usual parilla sort of thing. We all loved the food. Sat outside on a nice eve. They have a small but creative and interesting menu. Food I remember: delicious melon gazpacho... More
We are here based on reviews here and in Time Out. Huge mistake. I've spent a lot of time in BA and this is my first bad experience - and it was really bad - on a night when I wanted a break from traditional Argentianian fare. We arrived at the same time as another couple, not long after the... More
