We ordered the ceviche tasting platter and all three samples were different and wonderful. The Thai ceviche was our favorite, sweet and sesame; but the other two more ciitrus varieties were also really tasty. We wanted a good recommendation on wine, and Juan from the bar came over to the table with an outstanding recommendation to accompany our meal. He... More

Buenos Aires is notorious for bad seafood, but Osaka is the exception. Though not the best sushi I've ever had, it is the best I've had in this city. The added fusion flair to their ceviche is unmatched and their mains are simply delicious. The place is rather trendy but I didn't feel at all out of place like one... More

If you want typical/classic Japanese this isn't the place to go. If you like experiencing new flavors, creative menus, unusual combinations of Japanese-Peruvian food you'll love Osaka. The ceviches were refreshing with bold flavors & super fresh ingredients. Seriously tasty food - I would definitely go there again next time I visit Buenos Aires!

Just came back from Osaka. We arrived in BA this morning on our first trip to South America and thought we would end a great day with a nice meal. We went prepared expecting the prices to be really high, and although they are expensive for BA Standards, my wife and I ate for 700 pesos including service. The food... More

The waitstaff were friendly and helpful. The food was so-so. It felt like the chef was trying too hard. The scallops with parmesan would have tasted better with less gobs of Parmesan (seemed like an exaggerated version of Chilean machas). The mixed seafood appetizer, however, was done well albeit, a little too rich on the sauce. The octopus was drenched... More

If you are thinking on save money, this is not the place. If you want to impress to somebody, this is one of the option to take into account in Buenos Aires. Once of my favorites places to eat a non traditional sushi. I strongly recommend the "tiraditos" with maracuya sauce and the warm sushi with salmon, avocado and philadelphia.... More

We are foodies and travel to eat - just back from a 2 week trip to Argentina, Uruguay and Rio. Osaka was the best restaurant this trip by far. The quality of the ceviches were fantastic, the quantity enormous. The service was impeccable too and despite our hotel not managing to make our booking they found us a table. We... More

It is difficult to maintain quality for years, but Osaka has veen able to do it. I would come to this place every time we were in Buenos Aires. A reservation was needed, or the wait was over an hour if you were lucky. A lot of locals would gather there. We went on a friday night , and perhaps... More

We were visiting BA with my family and booked a table for 2 on Wednesday night. I have heard that the place was always super busy but finding a table was easy. We got to Palermo around 9.30pm and it was half packed. My wife had never tried Peruvian fusion so we tried as many different dishes as possible. All... More
