I have eaten at steakhouses all over the world. Overall, I really was a bit disappointed in this place. The line was long and the wait time was well more than estimated. The bread was boring and not on the level with what I expected. The basic chorizo appetizer was ok. The steak (bife de chorizo) was nothing that special,... More

Huge portions, delicious steaks, good service. Those with a large appetite could eat a 1/2 portion and be more than satisfied. Would have liked to have had more explanation regarding the cuts of meat and the sides that come with it. Nice ambiance, but somewhat crowded during peak dining hours.

This was such a charming restaurant. We ordered the ojo de bife which was tender and tasty. We shared it and it was plenty. We were going to order a salad and the server told us the beef was accompanied by little side dishes. They were fabulous. More than enough food. The ambiance and service were also excellent!!

We ate at this restaurant in February 2013. Steak was very good. Portions are large enough that you only need a 1/2 order or share a meal between 2 people. Very busy so you must have a reservation. Service was excellent and the wine was tasty as always in Argentina.

We ate some phenomenal meals in Buenos Aires produced by some uber-talented chefs. La Cabrera was just not as good as so many other places. There is a huge amount of meat on your plate, it's packed out every night with loads of tourists, and the food is good but not exceptional in any way. If this is the best... More

This steakhouse was recommended by several friends (both Argentinian and from elsewhere). It is hard to get a reservation, but our hotel found a way and we enjoyed the north restaurant (there is also just La Cabrera or La Cabrera South). The bife de chorizo was very good as were the multiple sides that came with it. The flan was... More

I booked this restaurant online a few weeks before our trip, I have since found out they only take reservations for 20:30 and anything after is just first come first served. We were unaware that the restaurant only opened at 20:30 so were surprised at the queue when we arrived. They called us in one reservation at a time. The... More

We booked La Cabrera Norte via online booking. Upon arrival, a busy line was already forming for the dinner service. Good thing we had the reservation ( a must) and we were escorted immediately to our table. Now the food: We started off with the kidneys and lamb intestines. Kidneys were pretty good but the lamb I found a bit... More

I have been going to this restaurant for a number of years, the last time 2 years ago until I went the other day. The wait outside (1hour outside) has not changed and was expected - one cannot reserve after 2100. On the inside, it is still a lovely friendly restaurant, though prices have significantly increased since 2 years ago... More
