What a night...this was our last night in Capetown..the restaurant was superb and I cannot recommend it highly enough...yes it is not cheap but well worth every penny...we so thoroughly enjoyed ourselves...the food delicious...the service superb....what a fantastic way to finish off our trip of a life time to South Africa!!

The food was AMAZING, the wine selection a library and the service something to write a ‘Service manual’ about. Money well spent and worth every cent. Have a look at their winter specials, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed in Constantia Uitsig. Wehad two times dinner in LA COLOMBE and each time we liked it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. When you compare it with the European prices for such a restaurant it is (in our opinion) cheap for what you get. The same for the excellent wine!!

So you don't get to be in the top 100 restaurants for nothing. Had an amazing dinner here. Staff is excellent, helpful and fun and the food is exceptional. Great food and wine. Relatively small menu but well put together. Can be very expensive though. Great setting in the Constantia valley
