A nice surprise this former station transformed into a cosy place to eat. Good food, nice atmosphere, friendly folk, BUT we had to wait 25 minuts in a almost empty restaurant for our breakfast! Sorry guys but that is way too long....

We went with a couple of friends for Sunday brunch. We sat outside in the sun and drank some wine, had a long chat and watched life go by. My fish and chips were OK with the fish batter being a little soft, which disappointed me. The rest of the group enjoyed their various salads and fish dishes.

We sat in the garden and had a very enjoyable and well cooked breakfast. Ideal for a visit after a long walk on the beach - and access through the cafe to the little craft shop in the old railway building

Judging by the previous reviews, I guess we came on an 'off day'. I'm not sure they really wanted customers on the day we visited. The first waitress muttered something about not allowing any more people to sit down for lunch that day. The second chap was a bit more friendly but told us there would be a long wait...

We found this lovely place quite by accident, after a lovely hour on the beach. You wouldn't know it's here- its on the tracks of the old railway and serves fabulous platters, and the fish was superb.
Very child and dog friendly, lovely friendly owner and good wine.
What more could you ask for?
