Just as the name suggests, the food quality that is served from the restaurant is excellent. However, prices are, from a local perspective, on the wild side...very expensive.
The food and service are excellent...we went there for lunch as a family. I appreciated that you get what u exactly ask for---mild or hot. The surroundings a great, very clean and well furnished and the prices are fair. I would go back for the second time....I highly recommend this restaurant :)
Their seven-course menu of R618 was not even worth the Groupon value of R299 (supposed to have 52% saving). The Pride of India is Pretoria's best Indian restaurant. It consistently produces imaginative, well-flavoured North Indian food at reasonable prices. The chicken, fish and dhal dishes are particularly good. There's a decent wine list too.

We were welcomed by the owner " Mitch Bhima" The welcoming itself makes you fairly confident that the cuisine will be truly the taste of India.. We had butter chicken, tandoori chicken and Lamb korma.
