My my, I should know better. I can't blame anybody but myself. I can't speak for the pastries but lunch is something out of the microwave. And he gives no apologies for it. He couldn't understand why I didn't want more coffee. I think he had made it a couple of days before and really wanted to get rid of... More

I am sorry you did not enjoy your experience at Gisele's. We do make our food fresh, from scratch, and then freeze it as soon as it cools. It retains it's flavors and quality, and then is heated in the microwave when it is ordered. (This is for lunch items only). We make our wraps from scratch as soon as... More

We stop by this lil bakery that is located in a basement / below the street. Don't under estimate the location of this bakery it rocks. Unfortunately he is closing shop and relocating to CA, get it while you can! Friendly customer service!

We found this little bakery by accident and were very pleased we did. The owner gave us alot of history of the town and how he came to live in Jerome. He is also a volunteer fireman-paramedic and told us some stories of tourists and their rented motorcycles on the 12 mile stretch and 158 turns in the Mts. leading... More

Went twice in as many days. The desserts are baked on premises and it is apparently run by a volunteer firefighter, as there are "just in case" notes taped to the dorr in the event that he has to leave to respond to an alarm. By the way, he is also Giseles son and got his baking gene and recipes... More

Thank you for your response. Gisele was my Wife's mother, not mine. But, I learned everything from my wife, who learned from her mother. So, by proxy... More

Stopped by this bakery because of TA reviews. Got a couple of cookies which were just OK. Husband got a biscotti that was delicious. This is in the basement of a building so no views and stuffy. Take it to go! Only one table with three people and us standing at the counter and were waiting about 5 mins for... More

I am sorry your experience was not as good as it could have been. We are a very small operation, and most times I work alone, so, sometimes it may take me a few minutes. I am sorry about that. I hope that if you're in the area again, you will give us another try. I'm glad your husband liked... More

My husband and I took a day trip to Jerome to escape the heat in the Valley. We were looking for a quaint lunch place and followed the high recommendations of the reviews on Tripadvisor. Boy, were we disappointed, to say the least! We knew that it would be a "hole in the wall" and rustic, but what we weren't... More

Reminded me of back home in Uniontown PA ....The bakery had everything I like.. Christmas shop off the side. Jerome has wonderful little shops and places to eat and the views are breath taking....I love the vintage hat store also!

My wife and I stayed for 1 night at the Jerome Grand Hotel in May while doing some sight seeing and shopping in Jerome. We ate dinner at the Asylum and the food was fabulous!!! I had the Sonoran Spiced Chicken and my wife had the Mesquite Bacon Wrapped Filet - both were great!!!! This is our 2nd trip to... More

Everything is excellent, but the cookies are to die for. Just like Mom/Grandma makes. The pastries are fresh - just get there early for some items. This bakery is a must stop for us every time we pass thru the area.

We called into Gisele's Cafe as we were walking around Jerome and coming across it down a little street, and we were so glad that we did. The owners Colleen and Jeff couldn't have been nicer and helpful. I wanted something light after eating very stodgy food for most of our trip so asked for some poached eggs on toast,... More
