My family and I came here after going to Matt's Big Breakfast and deciding to leave based on the perceived lack of seating for families with small children (this may not be the case as we looked in from outside). They have a very small waiting area and you have to sign in to get a table if it is... More

I have been by this place several times, always a line out the door. Good down home cooking, i had the biscuts and gravey, yummy. the wife had an omlet which she said was fantastic.. if you are in the glendale area i highly recommend you check this place out. i esp like the mini-muffins, which are served before. we... I have eaten at this little family style restaurant several times, both when I lived in the Phoenix area (mid 1980s), and later when travelling to the Valley of the Sun with my new bride. This little jewel has the best family style menu there can be found, from many egg dishes, and the usual breakfast that travellers and residents... More

Kiss the cook is a small but very cute, and homey restaurant with home cooked fresh meals. It is a very friendly place with great food and great service. It is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.

Recommended by a local, we tried this kitschy place that serves homemade food and is known for their mini muffins served in the beginning and then give you a Hershey's kiss with the check. Place is small and service is friendly, but slow. Muffins are cute but most taste like boxed cake mix. Cajun style Eggs Benedict is very good... More

Here one's breakfast experience starts with a basket of mini muffins, a cup of excellent coffee (if you order it) is followed by a great breakfast. They have an excellent Eggs Benedict. I tend to judge an entire restaurant by their hollandaise sauce, if the sauce breaks I reckon other menu items might also be duds. The sauce here does... More

I needed to get a break and wanted breakfast. I spotted kiss the cook out of the corner of my eye and stopped in with my paper. I was told to sit wherever I would like....(unusual for me)..the waitress was right behind me with a menu and asked me what I wanted to drink. I got my coffee ordered my... More

Small eclectic restaurant in Glendale, AZ. The food was great...I have tried the meatloaf sandwich and their 3-cheese grilled cheese on Parmesan crusted sourdough bread. Everything is home made here!

You might think you're walking into an antique store but it's a "we make it here" restaurant. The menu is limited but everything is excellent. Check the black board outside for the daily specials, your waitress might forget something. When in doubt their corned beef is worth ordering. Breakfasts come with a basket of mini muffins that will have you... More

Charming, small and quaint, with above average home made food describes this cozy restaurant serving wonderful breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices. A large menu to please all tastes and a friendly staff. Sometimes you will need to wait a few minutes to be seated, but worth the wait. Not open for dinner.
