dinner only.2 bars. live music.real italian menu.tasty food.locals eat here. shopping center location.
Overpriced for a strip mall restaurant. The owner was not open to our opinions. We are people who eat out a lot and know what the costs are at other Italian restaurants in the area and for what they charge, you should be at a very upscale place. The owner has an attitude and not very pleasant. We no longer... More
I recently had dinner at Amaro's and was happy to meet the new owners. The owners were attentive and cared deeply about the satisfaction of their customers. I had stopped eating at Amaro's a year earlier after hearing from my friend that the prior owner approached her husband and demanded a loan from him at no interest to keep his... More
I had been enjoying Amaro for quite some time...until recently. They always had very tasty pizza and a panna cotta desert that abounded in flavor. The original owners were two chefs whose creations are notable throughout the Valley. Amaro has now changed hands and obviously the food has suffered. After my last dining experience, I have officially removed them from... More
In my last week of seven in Arizona. Went here for early evening local meal in Cave Creek and very pleasantly surprised. Lovely tasty food, attentive friendly staff, a good live singer that had the women singing along, and a bill unexpectedly low for the quality. Would go again if not returning to UK.
We went before a baseball game do it coincided with happy hour times - 3 of us had the calamari salad and 1 had the short rib special. All food was terrific; service was great, Stormy, and the value couldn't b beat; we understand that there is music ( nice music) and I think it is on Thurs evenings -... More

First time back this trip and as good as ever. Instead of the steak, we went for the Halibut, the Paella and the Lasagne whilst sharing the Calamari & Mussel starters between three. Everything was excellent and the Panna Cotta just superb. Go again - without a shadow of doubt.
The chef de specials The chef de specials everyday that are unbelievable. So what's the staff help you pick that only the wine but the best food for what you want. A must see when you're down here don't miss it you deserve this!!
My husband and I go to Amaros quite often because it's close, the staff is nice and the mussels and meatballs are the best around. The bruschetta also rocks. We did have a pizza with the white sauce once and it wasn't good at all. We're really picky about our pizza because we've had the best in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada... More
