With very few restaurants to choose from, we ended up at Mekong. Reasonable food at reasonable prices. The prawns we had, grilled and fried, were good and so was the fish in tomato sauce and the noodle dishes. Not much in the way of vegetable dishes - we all had spinach. Glad we found it, as there is nothing else... More

Frankly, I was offended by this restaurant, which has one menu (pricier and more limited) for foreigners and another, longer and less expensive menu for Vietnamese. We ordered a couple of beers and a few dishes but I felt ripped off by the entire experience. I'd never go back there.

we were the only guests that night outside so the atmosphere wasn't anything. it seems though that it has a good potential for a nice atmosphere. food was nothing special but what you expected. price/quality was fine

Just went here for dinner. Spring rolls best tasted in Vietnam. Grilled prawns also good. After this deteriorated and need to remind waiter of our order. When it arrived rather bland. Cost $US21 for eight Tiger beers and the meal for three people.

A day on the Mekong is a must if you are in the area. There are many boat tours and various stops to see how local people live and work. It does not sound that cool, but we went to a local food factory and a local brick factory and both were awesome. The river itself is quite an experience... More

See a bit more of river life, the customs stops out of Vietnam and into Cambodia was a bit dragged out leaving Vietnam but made up for efficiency into Cambodia. You can get a Cambodian visa easily at the border but you will need a passport size photo and about $25.

Set back from the road. I had a simple meal of soy bean chicken and that was nice. English spoken and the waiter was polite. I felt it was expensive for the amount I got and comparing it to what I been paying for meals in Vietnam.

It is our first day in Vietnam and we were looking for a good meal. We didn't want to eat on the street cause we didn't want to take risks. We went by the recommendation to Mekong. The waiter took our order and after a few minutes he came to take our order again. Acted like we never ordered before.... More

The people are friendly and the food is simple, good and well-priced. It is run by a family. It's a little tricky to work out where it is, so I've attached a few photos to help. Its on the main road by the river, Le Loi. The big Mekong sign out the front is the entrance, but walk past the... More

It is a beautiful area with loads to learn and do. We spent a total of 5 days in the delta in 3 different locations and the one I loved the most was CHau Doc. My Tho, on the other hand, seem to touristy to us.
