Great restaurant on Lighthouse beach with excellent views. Lovely rosti with eggs and a 'large plate salad' to die for. Yum. Certainly worth a visit, you won't be disappointed

My wife and 6 year old son visited Swiss Cafe for dinner during a couple of days stay in Kovalam. Very extensive menu and all freshly cooked. Tiger Prawns were amazing and a fraction of the price we have paid in other places across India. No alcohol but that's a fairly common feature of restaurants in the region. All in...

Spending five days on Kovalam Beach with local friends and family we ate in many of the restaurants and cafes. The Swiss Cafe was outstanding in both its welcome, service and quality of food. We were a big party with young (English) children - some of these enjoyed western dishes while we chose local Indian dishes with our friends from...

the mouth watering chicken and mutton biryani and excellent eggfry with bacon .the ambience is good with a great view of the sea
We just kept going back again and again and again. The view was perfect, the prices were more reasonable than the competition, the service was great, and the food was good.
One of the problems with Kovalam restaurants is the wide range of menu items – I guess designed to offer tourists virtually anything they could desire. I often eat at Swiss Cafe, the food & service are excellent as is the view of Kovalam's Lighthouse Beach. A wonderful place for a lazy afternoon brunch.
We used this restaurant often and were never dissapointed, its upstairs on lighthouse beach, get a table at the front for some great views of the beach and sunsets, try the snapper fillets in white wine sauce and a large rosti, more than enough for the 370/- rps cost
An average restaurant with a menu that did not differ specifically from other restaurants in Kovalam. Their bread was good!
Nice quiet setting above the promenade. Lots of goodies on the menu and very good service. Sometimes very busy with large groups but never detracted from our dinners.
