We happened to wander into this restaurant with no reservation about 10 minutes before they started serving a six-course tasting menu with wines selected for each course. You will not regret eating at the Bar Harbor restaurant. Owners Martin and Cammie Smith know how to treat their guests well. I haven't eaten anything I didn't like, the selection of wines is very good, and the atmosphere is good. The prices are on a par with other restaurants. Make a reservation! More

I was traveling through Ketchikan for work and was only here for one evening and one morning...found this gem from the online reviews and very glad I checked it out. They closed at 8pm and I called at about 7:15 pm and they totally welcomed me and said come on down, and even made me not feel awkward about eating... More

We held our son's rehearsal dinner at the Bar Harbor, with 14 people, and they allowed us to bring in a cake. Several of us had the blackened prime rib (I think that's what it was) and loved it!
