The people, the food, the ambiance are all tremendous here. This little bistro has a phenomenal menu and offers a great variety of cheeses and meats. Definitely try the spanata or quiche. Also a great place to have a delicious sandwich on fresh bread packed up for a romantic beach picnic - or just have a wedge of cheese and... More

A large choice in sandwiches and two soups daily. They seem very committed to fresh. Lots of locals here.

Maura's Café was a delight. We were lucky to be able to eat "Nettles Soup" a local vegetable that is only in season for a short period to go along with a world class turkey sandwich on hoe made bread. Sitting under the blue Alaska sky, with a perfect soup and sandwich created a perfect Homer memory. You cannot go... More

An associate took me to Maura's for lunch. The next day I took my wife...and the day after that, and the day after that. Fantastic breakfast, awesome sandwiches, excellent salads. Read the other reviews, see their website, go to Maura's. Best food in the universe.

We went to Maura's twice on our way to kodiak! The 8 of us loved what we ordered! We are from San Francisco and it is as good as the best caffes in San Francisco! The ingredients are fresh, varied and well prepared. The service was friendly and fast!

This small restaurant has a great menu of salads and sandwiches with creative names and ingredients. They are freshly made and their tomatoe bisque soup is so smooth and tasty - you should try it. Areas in both buildings are small and compact but worth the effort.

After reading the reviews on Maura's we had to experience this for ourselves. I had the special of the day that was Alaskan Smoked Lok & Bagel. It was FANTASTIC!!! This is a must for every foodie. Next time I am in Homer, this will be my first stop. There is not a lot of seating, so this would be... More

The food is soooo good! The ????vera sandwich (sorry can't remember full name) is so good and the brownies will make you wet your pants. Seriously, you may never be satisfied with another brownie.

The veggie sandwich with melted brie on top and a pot of pesto on the side is perhaps the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. Yesterday I had root veggie hash with arugula and smoked mozzarella with 2 eggs. One of the tastiest breakfast combos I've had. The breakfast menu is very creative and I can't wait to... More

I can't wait to try out the new breakfasts one of these times...for lunch soup and sandwiches, nothing in town beats Maura's. The prices are fair, and I love the emphasis on healthy locally-sourced foods. The preparation is done with love and care, I've never been disappointed in anything I've ordered.
