We stayed at Hotel Plaza Yara so this was right next door. We stopped in a few times for drinks and always had a good time. The food was pretty solid and inexpensive. Happy Hour drinks are really cheap. They have live music every night which I really enjoyed. Definitely recommended.
La Hacienda has excellent food and atmosphere. The dining area is open to the rain forest and provides an open atmosphere. The paintings on the walls and ceiling are also very entertaining. The menu had so many delicious options that we wanted to try. We opted for the specials including a curry and a pork tenderloin that were both very...

We visited La Hacienda several times during our trip which occurred during the rainy season. Even when all other bars and restaurants in the area were empty, La Hacienda always had people in it eating dinner or getting drinks. The live music was not bad, but obviously the quality of the music will depend on when you are there and...

my fiance and i had a great time here. we ate here several times while we stayed just down the way. It was within walking distance. It was so good! the seafood tagliatelli is a MUST TRY! live music was great on fri and sat.
Food was super over-priced and all over the place. The atmosphere is less breathtaking than other restaurants in the area that have similar prices. They had a band playing while we were there and it was a very fun place to hang out over a couple of drinks.

We came to La Hacienda and I HATED my food. We got calamari to start and it was gross then I got lobster and my husband...

Dan hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner for 20 people on a Friday night in April. He provided a great menu with appetizers, entrees and dessert for our guests. Everyone was happy with the service and the food was great. The live music and being right next to the jungle made the atmosphere perfect for us.
We looked at several restaurants...

Great food and atmosphere. My wife had the beef tenderloin with rosemary potatos (very good) and I had the pan fried trout (excellent). Very reasonably priced drinks ($3 marg) and live music, Cory Butler on guitar - he was really good and seemed like a nice guy. We were too full to have desert, but they looked really good. Overall,...
