Food was fresh and delicious, prices were reasonable. They only sell wine, but you can bring in your own beer.

We passed by this restaurant one evening and were interested in the open pit fire and glowing lanterns. We returned the next night for dinner. It was a warm evening and the fire pit made it even warmer. We took an outside table. We ordered the grilled chicken and it was delicious. The best part, however, was the dessert. The...

After reading all the great reviews on the restaurant, we decided we had to check it out. Overall, it was really just average. The chicken was dry, they were out of mashed potatoes...I just really don't have any rave reviews on this one. Very disappointing considering how many good reviews there are on this place!
Also, they don't sell beer....

Little argentinian grill place. If you like, or want to know, the argentinian way of grilling beef, pork or chicken .....that's the place to go. Many times the place is packed ! Be patient...or make a reservation (especially in peak season). The night we were there some street musicians dropped in...and it was quite a show. We had lots of...

We ate here on the recommendation of the local who rented our atvs to us and so very glad we listened to him. I had the Lomito and friends all had the chicken dish. All of us were thrilled. The chimichuri sauce is an awesome compliment to any of the meals. We enjoyed our dinner so much two nights later...

We went here for a late dinner on our last night in Mal Pais/Santa Teresa. If we had gone sooner in our trip, we definitely would have eaten here more than once! The atmosphere was laid back and comfortable, perfect for Mal Pais-goers. The service was very fast, even with a full restaurant. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and loved...

An open grill dominates the space – so everything is, uh, grilled with that nice charred flavor. We had a grilled whole fish (delicious) and grilled chicken and ribs, also, we thought, good. Wine but no beer.

Las Piedras, located on the main road in Playa Carmen (beware, it's on the right side of the road going north, just before the bridge...and not very well indicated), is an Argentinian parrillada with an outdoor grill. All of the seating is outdoors, which allows you to enjoy the evening breeze...and the delicious odours coming from the busy grill. As...
