Kiki's has something for everyone from local fair to burgers to delicious seafood. Very casual and friendly. A great place for big groups and last minute get togethers.
Ir you are in Playa Grande for vacation this is one of the best local places to have a meal. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is not fancy just local, good and comfortable. Good local bar and service.
We are an English family with 2 daughters aged 11 and 15. This was a great find. Not fancy or pretentious, just a regular bar / restaraunt selling regular food well and charging a fair price. Unlike some of the other local restaraunts, tax was included and an automatic 10% service charge wasnt added. Yes - we would go back... More
We like to eat early, and not all restaurants (especially in hotels) in Costa Rica serve dinner early (5 pm), but Ki ke's is open all the time and serves typical Costa Rican food in good and tasty portions for a reasonable price. They also have a pool table for your free use and we watch the Copa de Oro... More
Enrique's has been in the same place for 23+ years. As soon as you walk in, you can feel all the good times and warm energy that makes up the place. The typical rice and beans with fish is absolutely delicious. Filling as well. I also recommend the Cantonese rice. Enrique and Yarina are always there, chatting and making sure... More
This place was recommended by word of mouth and we were told to try the House special rice dish and items from the grill as they are authentic and cooked on real wood. After reading some reviews I was concerned, but we took the advice of others and the advice was fantastic. A small group of us ate here for dinner... More
K's place (I'm having trouble posting this review by typing in the full name of the restaurant ... it is pronounced "kee-kays" by the way) is possibly the only spot in Playa Grande where one can get any semblance of local culture and cuisine. They have the traditional "casado" which are typically Costa Rican style mix plates featuring meat or... More
I got a pineapple smoothie, green salad and a house special pizza. Overall good eating. Service was friendly and quick. The smoothie was fresh and tropical. The salad was very good with red peppers, onions, clean lettuce and ripe tomatoes. The pizza had a little of everything and canned mushrooms (bummer) but it was very good. I am glad I... More
Nice staff working here, and overall nice vibe. Harsh fluorescent lights in main part of restaurant were glaring and affected the mood. Big TVs on all the walls, showing Tico sports mainly. We were disappointed by the food - my wife ordered a veg pizza which was undercooked and doughy on the bottom, mainly because the veggies became watery while... More
