Players in the airport was wonderful! Like an American restaurant abroad. Food was very good, gelato like in Italy, great staff and service. Food is worth the money.

Costa Rica is expensive no matter where you eat. Players Club in the airport was great. The food is fantastic and the service was great. I am not sure why some people complain on trip advisor but when you travel to a different country you should expect to pay more than what your used to at home. Try going to... More

We had several hours to kill one morning, and with nothing else open, settled on this dump. The food was paltry and bad. My chicken sandwich, for example, barely covered half the bun. The service was more concerned with dancing with one another, throwing things, and clapping to the music than the service. We had 4 sandwiches and drinks, nothing... More

I really, really wished we'd checked Trip Advisor before wandering into this place. We WAY overpaid for some truly terrible food. And then, we realized we could have had the same (bad) food for somewhat less money by getting it 'to go'. That would have made it easier to throw it out. Shame on you, Players Club - you were... I have never been so disappointed in a food establishment in my entire life. I paid $47 for two hamburgers, one order of fries, and a bottle of Pelligrino water. Then I waited in an area that had a mob of people, with it unclear as to who was waiting to order and who was waiting to pick up food.

One restaurant you can eat at in the event you don't coordinate your hunger prior to flying out of Liberia Costa Rica. The restaurant looks nice, clean and comfortable. The foods are OK. wrap sandwich costs $17!!!!! Slice of pizza $10!!!! Was not even paying attention. Lunch for family of 4 cost $100, at the airport. I spent that much... More

funny how you don't do the math and add up what your meal is costing you when it's listed in a foreign currency. While I admit it was totally my fault that we didn't notice the prices, after a week at an all-inclusive resort, it wasn't even an afterthought. I expected to pay a little markup and all, but $80... The most expensive restaurant in costa rica rests in the airport terminal and is the only food option available. Are they kidding me!!! I am talking crazy prices. Like $10 for a square pizza. Sushi was over $30 for a roll. At first you think they are in US dollars and are just a little over priced and then you... More

The only restaurant in the airport has you over a barrel and they know it. If you want "food" you must go there. Not us. When we were told it would $50 for two burgers, fries and cokes we just laughed and decided to give less of our hard earned money to the airline and get better food, which we... More

First, if you want the food from next food court (part of the club I think) you can not enter the "club" area with it to watch TV, sit down etc. So you can not bring that food (all same food) into the area, BUT you can come it to the area, order the same food for double (just crazy... More
