Historic near the stadium! If you are in Tuscaloosa you have to stop at Rama Jama if you have not been. Food is not exceptional, but good large and a historic legend.
Located under the shadow of the football stadium for the University of Alabama, it certainly has location and much memorabilia for Alabama fans. Food was good, but nothing special. Place is cluttered and needs to be cleaned.
Bring your appetite and your camera. Great food and tons of Alabama sports memorabilia. Maybe the second most photograph location in Tuscaloosa after the statutes of the football coaches in front of the football Stadium. Rama Jama's is located in the shadow of Bryant-Denny Stadium at the corner of Wallace Wade Avenue and Paul W. Bryant Drive. unbelievable breakfast and... More
Breakfast like Grandma made- thank goodness fried eggs did not have a crusty outer layer that makes me go yuck. A skill that seems forgotten. Perfection cooked bacon and finally a restaurant that knows how southerners eat grits-not so creamy like milk mush but real grits wth some texture. EAsy refills on coffee. Cheaper than fast foods and real food... More
This is a no holds barred, down-home authentic greasy spoon with GREAT burgers and GREAT breakfasts. Come for the food, stay for the local character and football memorabilia.
A lot of people go to Rama Jama's for the breakfast, but I think the lunches are better. They have ridiculously good hamburgers and fabulous onion rings. It's right in the shadow of Bryant-Denny stadium, so great location, obviously. There is limited parking, though.
Great basic southern cooking done right. I had two eggs, bacon, grits and biscuit and everything was wonderful. My husband had an omelet that was huge. Great value for the money and perfect location next to Bryant Denny Stadium. Owner was very friendly and we could've spent days looking at all of Tide artifacts on the walls.
