This charming restaurant is located in historic downtown Opelika. I love the feel of the old and new blended together to create a unique dining experience. The food is amazing! I love the creative twist on classic Southern dishes. If you are looking for a great meal in the Auburn-Opelika area....this is the place!

A white tablecloth restaurant with service to match. The menu at Café 123 offers an opportunity to have either the same items prepared a little different, or, completely different foods rather than the same old, same old.

Trip advisor has it right...this is #1. Anything you order, is amazing. Although...you must dress formal, so don't forget the dress and heels ladies. White table cloth and exquisite service all around. If I'm ever back on this side of town, most definite a "come back too". Keep it up!

We have eaten at Cafe 123 on a few special occasions. The restaurant is not big and can get a little noisy, but the food is so fresh and creative that it is worth it!

First visit and did not live up to all the 5 stars reviews for me. They were under staffed tonight only two taking care of everything (waiting tables, bar tending and acting as hostess). I ordered the ribeye steak cooked just right but not as tender as I thought it should be for a high end diner. Maybe Tuesday is... More

This is one of the best restaurants in Opelika. It is expensive, but the food is great. There menu is very limited, but everything in it is great. It's a very classy restaurant, the staff is always nice and the food never disappoints. The Ribeye is amazing, and there mash potatoe taste s great. They have great plate presentation, and... More

We have been to Cafe 123 at least once a year since it opened but nothing spectacular. But last Wednesday it was yummy! I got the beef tenderloin. It is stacked up on mashed potatoes, fried green tomatoes and lump crabmeat on top. Oh, and I got the spinach on the side cause asparagus makes your tinkle smell awful! Service... More

Shrimp and grits were Better than that found in New Orleans. Brown sugar rubbed rib eye was Better than a Dallas steak house. Table side Caesar was a great touch and allowed interaction with our talented server. Bread pudding, as my culinary award winning wife said, "Better than I make. I'm saving some for coffee in the morning. Outstanding value... More

Doing the Robert Trent Jones Trail our server at the golf course, Daria, a foodie and hospitality major, told us about Cafe 123 so off we went. We found a number of fine restaurants on our tour of Alabama but this was the best. Excellent food and service. Hope they comp Daria with a bottle of wine when she is... More

I actually dined at Cafe 123 twice in one week. First night with a total of 4 people and the next time with 7 people. The food here is prepared carefully with great flavors. We started with Mussels which were excellent. Shrimp and grits were very good as well. The menu consists of catch of the day, steak, and a... More
