It's fine...lots of good lamb dishes, middle eastern, arabic type food, humus, etc. There is a Arabic store in the back of the restaurant too. This place has been around for a while. Its a small restaurant right behind a synagogue on Airport Blvd.

Don't be put off by the exterior appearance - in a strip mall. A friend and I went on Sunday, not realizing they only have a buffet (which I am not a fan of), but we sat down and proceeded to then fill our plates with hummus, tabouli, babba ganoush, lamb shank, grilled vegetables, dolmades, rice, kofta, chicken curry, yogurt/garlic...

My first visit was for supper tonight and it was excellent. I had Kifta Kabob, a ground beef mixed with onions, parsley and spices then grilled. It is presented shaped like a wiener. Herb spiced rice and sautéed squashes accompany. I have been on the road for two weeks eating all meals out and this was one of the best....

We go to Mobile frequently, and have tried several other restaurants rated highly on tripadvisor. I normally am leery of restaurants tucked into strip malls, but this one was so highly recommended I had to give it a try. Wonderful! Their food has fantastic, authentic herbs and spices, and that citrus salad dressing on the greek salad is something I...

Jerusalem Cafe continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Mobile. The tender lamb literally 'falls' off the shank bone, lentil soup or greek salad comes w/ entree. On this trip-> we also ordered the appetizer 'combo plate' w/ stuffed grape leaves, babagonoush, tabouli, hummus: ample quantity for four people. If you have not tried turkish coffee, you are...

love this place.. hard to find behind applebees but while worth it. the service is just right, they know who to wait on you without over doing it. the food is outstanding. i have tried a lot of things on the menu and it is wonderful you can bring your own wine or beer
This small venue located in an older strip shopping center offers good Mediterranean food that makes it a popular lunch choice. The hummus is homemade. A little on the thin side but easy to scoop up with the soft warm pita triangles. I ordered lamb kofta, which was well flavored and served with a good choice of condiments.
The decor...

We stopped yesterday on the strength of great reviews and the facts that it was near I65 and open on Sunday for brunch. We were not disappointed. The food was plentiful and very good - all the usual middle eastern food choices and more. The soup was especially good. Two things to think about. The quantity - lots of food...

The lentil soup is always smooth, creamy and spiced with just the right amount of cumin. The salads are consistently fresh and the citrus vinaigrette is light and refreshing. Service is always good. What a treasure for Mobile!
