Famous for its continental veg and authentic Indian veg. Over a period of time, they expanded their floor space but also increased their rates quite a bit. They still have their old following but sometimes it is hard to justify their price.

It's not even close to being as beautiful as its namesake place, its always extremely crowded, the wait is irritating, the food extremely average, there are about a 1000 other places in chennai serving the same type of food and it's not even economically priced. There is no ambience........its like an overly crowded dinign hall in a house.......Definitely can be...

Good food, simple but pleasant ambience. Prices are on the higher end considering the set up and quantity. But quality & favours of food are good. A favourite choice for vegetarians only if you are patient enough - as the long queue at their beasant nagar outlet could put you off! Have walked out of the queue a couple of...

Time for a...

Went there as we heard good things about EDEN, but had a very bad experience. 8 of us went but none of us was satisfied with the food. Had to wait for more then an hour. Then came the service which was too slow. Roti/Nan/Paratha were all cold. Daal was pathetic, food was for sick people only. Really no taste...

They serve the most authentic North Indian food & the place is vegetarian. This gives a niche space & gets repeated clientele.
If you are a Thali fan then ask for the tent card. I love Thali because in terms of variety it is great.
The deserts collection is good too. Kajar ka halwa is my favorite.

This was our second attempt a Eden, the firsst being thwarted by a late diner opening time on the weekend (7:30.) The coconut curry was amazing, but the veggie platter on the continental menu wasn't good; better to stick with the Indian food! The bakes/pasta sounded good, so maybe next time?

One of the most hyped up places in Chennai, Eden is a small but elegant restaurent situated in besant nagar. The sign board eden is buried among the surroundings (Sri krishna Sweets is a landmark).
Food: One of the very few places in chennai where you can get continental and Indian food. Food is of decent quality. I feel that...

Good place for cheese lovers as this restaurant offers plenty of continental dishes mostly including italian dishes. My favourite dish is corn fluorantine. Ambience is quite pleasent only thing though you will have to wait long before getting into the hotel beacause of its uniqueness of the dishes.
