Taj in Jaipur definitely in a beautiful setting. Someone rattles off a spiel about the history of the restaurant but obviously no sense of humour when asked why Italian marble was chosen when India had more than decent marble to decorate the place. You could either choose from just one menu or pick and choose from the different menus available....

As in the Hotel where the restaurant is located (Taj Rambagh palace), everything here is just state of the art perfect!
From the dining room itself (formerly dining room of the local Maharajah) to the tables with gold plated glasses and cutlery, to the service, absolutely impeccable!
Choice of food absolutely amazing, representing all the most famous Indian cuisines.

I have been living in India for the past 3 years, and this was the most memorable and best meal I have had here. The decor is very elegant, the service was impeccable. We brought our 2 young girls and they were inspired to act like princesses since the restaurant was so beautiful.

I love this place. I have been visiting since the last decade or so-I used to see the late maharani gayatri devi eat here once in a while. This place is incredibly beautiful, has delicious food, great service and its orth going back here because compared to other hotels, its great value for money.

My partner and I went for dinner January 2012 and were simply bowled over by the place, it is amazing and we loved hearing about its history and the design features of the room - including the marble lamps in each corner of the room. The staff and the service was absolutely fabulous, you really were made to feel special...

This restaurant is worth going to if you're in Jaipur. The room is amazing and the food is superb. It's a special place, that unfortunately, some of the diners did not treat as such. It's expensive, but not as much as we thought it would be. The service was fantastic.

This was the best restaurant experience we had during our recent trip to India. Fantastic ambience, very good food, superlative service = value for money.
We were captivated right from the time we stepped in and were shown to our table by Payel, the floor manager. She enthusiastically explained the history of the place as we gazed at the frescoes...
