Have been visiting Martin's since 1992 as a student and going back there is a trip down memory lane. Excellent goan food and at realistic prices. Pork sorpotel, vindaloo and the sea food are excellent along with the pav served.
the streets of Goa have always sprung culinary surprises in terms of variety and complex influences over local dishes.this place keeps it clean and simple for the traditionalist and the Les amateurs de nourriture .
value for money, home cooked style, bone china cutlery, and an extremely responsive staff really helps when you cant decide if its the fatty pork in thick and...

I've been eating at New Martin's since 1988 when I first stumbled upon it. It's in a lane behind the main Colaba causeway so if you don't know where it is you'll miss it. Small, simple, yet tasty home style Goan food.
The food is very reasonably priced. The fish curry, pork vindaloo, pork sorpotel, fried surmai and a lot...

Great goan food. If you are looking for quality and value for money then this is the place to be. The food here is yummy, from the beef steak to the goan fish curry, prawn palau to the vindaloo server with the typical soft and fresh Bombay Bread will get you drooling.
The food gets exhausted very fast so you...

Visiting Mumbai, nostalgia led me back to Martins where we had many a memorable meals as teen aged brats. To my delight the restaurant has not changed at all in the last 25 years and to realize that Martins being more than 60 years old, I guess it has maintained its character since inception without looking jaded. Martins is all...

Great Goan food. Ask for everyday specials. Only open for lunch around 11-3 and then for dinner from 630-930. A little difficult to find but totally worth it.
As Mumbai morphs into Michelin starred restaurants and upscale outlets this is one honest authrntic reasonably priced place to get good Goan food. Maybe this was first set up to serve the Goans who lived in the "Clubs" near Dhobi Talao but it still serves good food and a very low price. One of the place which time forgot. I...

Being a foodie and living in Mumbai for a number of years, to read a recent NY Times article on Mumbai restuarants and find a place I hadn't heard of was something of a shock and felt compelled to check it out.
Good to see the likes of beef fry, goan sausage and chicken vindaloo on any menuand I will...
