I went with 2 of my friends in a car to this hotel. We couldn't get a seat to sit, so the waiter served us the dosa to our car. A single Dosa costs 22 INR and was so super. I felt like heaven eating it; Very soft. Chutney was amazing. They had some kind of palya instead of conventional... More

The road has two mylari hotels, don't know which is the original. In Bangalore if you pay that much you get decent fare and better hygiene. The place was really filthy and the dosas tasted like I was eating cotton. I have eaten amazing dosas in davangere benne dose and vidyarthi bhavan and this cannot even be compared. It had... More

Have to say, that "Jaisa sunaa waisa hi paaya" i.e found exactly what we have been reading in the earlier reviews for this Dosa Joint. My Findings: 1. Please visit this place only between 7 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 8 pm, (Tuesdays closed), as when the previous day I visited this place exactly at 8 pm,... More

Have you ever tasted a DOSA with lot's of butter, different taste of Chutney and a SAGU (a variety of vegetable curry) Mylari is an exception and I have witnessed many more hotels which try to imitate mylari's preparation but no one can beat this hotel. Except the location and ambiance - eating DOSA from this restaurant is an experience.

Just go for the dosas, leave everything else, the crowded tables, unhygienic kitchen. It is difficult finding a table, but once you have a table, just immerse yourself in masala dosa. it is closed on Wednesdays.

Very traditional place... Typical of Mysore, famous for its soft dosa smeared with home made ghee and stuffed with sagoo( sagoo is a tradional South Indian vegetable dish ) , I stuff myself with 3 dosas and at times idly .. This is a true maharaja style B'fast that makes up for your lunch even!

The Idly and Dosa served with Sagu and Chutney are delicious. The coffee is good. Ambience is ok. Parking is an issue. But alls worth the effort!

The way dosas and idlies are prepared here has literally set a benchmark for all other eating joints in Mysore to follow. The dosas we ordered at Mylari hotel were soft and full of butter. It was certainly not crispy as you would expect masala dosas to be at various other eating joints in Mysore or elsewhere. However, the dosas... More

Its a very small restaurant, which serves excellent dosa. The dosa and coffee are out of this world, and very cheap too. The problem is the atmosphere. It smells like toilet. Its a shame that the owner is taking no initiative to upgrade.
