Elma’s fell short of expectations. The menu, describes wonderful salads and sandwiches, both of which were a disappointment (they come from Edward’s downstairs). For example, the Thai salad (aside from being out of tofu) was in a bland dressing and I had assumed that a mushroom and cheese sandwich would use a better mushroom than button and better cheese than... This cozy tea room is one of my most visited place in Delhi. The level of food is quite decent. There are variety of english cakes and teas and wide range of light meals. Here the carrot cake is really recommanded. It's so moist(it's quite difficult to have decent mosit cakes in Delhi due to the quality of the flour... More

We were 4 adults and 2 children who went there for breakfast on a monday morning. The deco and ambiance is very nice, cozy and cute. The menu is quite long and the food is delicious. We loved the bread that they served and all the 2-3 egg preparations we ordered were simply mouth watering ! The children loved the... More

Quaint, warm and friendly were some adjectives that came to mind. Service seems ow but it really isn't, considering how busy the place is. Bakes were excellent and the teas are allclose to perfection Any more feedback and it old look like Iwn the place... Overall peopleare warm, friendly d helpful.

The food is decent, and the tea room offers a unique experience by Delhi standards. But then you certainly pay the price for it. Having been to several tea rooms in the English countryside, and having had afternoon teas in five stars, I feel Elma's offers the experience of the former at the price of the latter. Infact, strictly speaking,... More

I was a bit disappointed that there was some problem in the kitchen that meant I couldn't have a toasted sandwich - as I really wanted one! But I had a cold finger sandwich (BLT). The bread was proper, substantial bread, and overall the sandwich was good. But I really enjoyed the cake - I had a chocolate/apricot/brandy cake which... More

The previous reviewer mentioned "smell of ghee", I think they meant unsalted butter which may be used for baking. Who wouldn't love to go to a bakery where they actually bake fresh cakes! This is a quaint, cute lil place that I love to go. Their tea collection and blends are better than those at Oxford bookstore. The scones can... More

The look and feel is very "tea room" but the reality is different. They expect people to have their meals in the waiting area, the long wait kills the mood and there is a smell of ghee that lingers in the air. Very offputting. Tea selection is very good but portions of confectionery are small. Red velvet cake is nothing... More

Cosy tea house with dainty floral cups and pots (alert to the guys who may feel a tad uncomfortable drinking from a floral tea cup - you may request for a plain cup). Tried the red velvet cake and it was definitely worth another try.

The warm, cozy, comforting smell of fresh baking will win you over with the first whiff. And ambience is a perfect match. Everything from the bakery is gorgeous. Their cheescakes are just sinful, every bite will take you to heaven and back; especially the apple crumble and the berry fudge. Their carrot cake with the lightest buttery icing is a... More
