It offers a variety of seafood but you need to be prepared to pay for dishes ordered. It is a big restaurant and many tourists flock there to taste seafoods of variious kinds.

We've just returned from an excellent meal at Ocean King on a quiet Monday night. All our dishes were really tasty and good value, with our highlights rather surprisingly being the delicious home made fried tofu and the broccoli and mushroom. We also had some delicious clams and mantis prawnsa, and washed it down with sown of the best value... More

This restaurant is a local favourite and offers value for money. When ordering, always ask the staff for recommendation. They have house special bean curb and also great butter prawns. Most of all, the place offers value for money.

Excellent crab fish - fresh and inexpensive! Value for money. Don´t let the pink chairs or pink and blue menues discourrage you. Enjoy sitting on the deck.

First time to Ocean King Seafood Restaurant @ Sandakan. Heard that normally it would be quite packed however due to the current armed "Sulu" episode near Lahad Datu which is another town roughly 2 hours away from here. The food we ordered were awesome and compare to Hong Kong (HK) and Singapore (Spore). The pricing was so much more affordable.... More

'Sim Sim Seafood Restaurant' at 8th Bridge (turn left), Sandakan. The seafoods here is very fresh, cheap & taste delicious. Don't walk in to the wrong one next door, which you might have to pay more for the unnecessary price

We loved the fresh prawn, lobster and soup! But you or derby the gram and be warned it can be pricey! Better to order FAR less tan you think you want. Our tab was a shocker. But the cold beer, excellent service and great food made it worthwhile still!

This very large seafood restaurant is regarded as the No. 1 restaurant in Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia. We visited over the Chinese new year and there were hundreds and hundreds of people but we managed to get a table overlooking the sea and were served quite quickly. The fish was incredibly fresh & well prepared - we washed it down with... More
