Superb food. Great value. Very hospitable.
Don't forget to have Sarson da Saag and Missi roti (I like missi more that the famous makki) if visiting in winter.

You will enjoy food here they have lot of options to choose from. You can try Rajma chawal and Kali dal ... This is like 5 to 10 minutes from Akaal Residency hotel where I was staying... Its close to the market

It is dirty to the core with thousands of flies all over. Floor dirty and food real bad. I will not recommend this place at all. You want to have upset stomach please please go here.

We had heard a lot about this place and were told not to miss this place for lunch. But we found the food quality to be middling and definitely not equal to the reputation. Overall a disappointing experience

If there is one thing I've learnt during the course of several (work related) visits to Amritsar, it's that the people over there really enjoy food! So when one asks around for the definitive food experience and is overwhelmingly pointed to one destination "Bharwan da Dhaba", I'd say that it has to be a 'must try'.
Set at the edge...

I'm not sure of the history but am told that the original Bharawan da dhaba was divided into two, each owned by a brother. So there are two now, the other one being called Brother's dhaba. But having had a meal in each, I can recommend Bharawan over Brother's anyday.
The fare is entirely vegetarian with stress on local Amritsari...

We trekked to this place after a visit to the Golden temple and frankly one found it trifle dissapointing. The small tables are set against each other and although one gets own table, it feels like one is in a community tiffin. The food is delicious but dripping in desi ghee. The food tasted ordinary, especially after I visited other restaurants in the vicinity. The service was reasonable. Too crowded and noisy to suit a family ambiance (especially if you'd like to talk or discuss something). Nothing special about the "Amritsari Kulche" served here. Of the 3 plates ordered, 2 were not cooked well (under or over cooked). Dal along with...

Heard so much about this restaurant, i.e included this place in my Amritsar trip i ordered Amritsari kulche with chole and Lassi, found Amritsari kulche and Lassi of type in taste but chole was good. Place was very noisy and packed to its capacity at lunch time service was fast, located on a wide road and in main Amritsar market...

During our visit to Amritsar we always make it a point to visit this place. Ideally located and parking is no problem it is available outside the restaurant therefore commuting no problem.
Quality of Food is very Good, typical punjabi food which we all love, also not much spicy. Staff is very courteous.
A must visit for authentic punjabi food.
