Reported to the Cafe every morning for the tasteful American breakfast, fresh brewed coffee and hours of reading remains a great memory in Lijiang, especially when the sun shines up into the late morning through the window, watching people walking along the streets and the running rivers opposite the Cafe, it is an enjoyable moment spent in the ancient town.... The card, the taste, the wine, every thing was good when you want to eat something different from Chinese food.

Every so often when you are in China you feel like a good old English breakfast. You can have one here! There were several variations and we all went for different ones! The English breakfast and the muffin with eggs were probably the best choices. We sat upstairs and could look out on all that was happening around us. The... More

I love my "western" breakfasts and the Prague Cafe was the place in Lijiang. Very comfortable setting and good for people watching. Great coffee, too. The staff was very nice and the service was excellent. Meetings take place upstairs, just ask the staff about them.

If you're looking for an antidote to all the tourist spots desperate to sell you a 50RMB (US$8) cup of Yunnan coffee and that's trying to be different to all around it, give the Prague Cafe a try. It's not exactly like stepping through a door into the capital of the Czech Republic, but it is a world away from... More

Great variety of choices, reasonable prices, and nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. Great homemade breads and desserts. Try the country bread with vegetables, it's fantastic!

Great place to get a good coffee and a european breakfast. They offer a wide variety of western snacks and the staff is very friendly.

Only had masala tea so cannot say too much about the food, the masala tea is OK, definitely not as good as the tea I had in India. I sat in the cafe for about two hours, reading in-house magazines and chatting with friend, feels good and it's nice to have a lovely cafe in the not-so-lovely Dayan old city.

Lured into this quaint cafe on seeing the cheesecake in the window, we ended up ordering a beef burger and steak (as well as the cheesecake, which was excellent). The beef burger was ok, but the fries that came with it were raw. The portion size of the steak was tiny. And lastly they had a puppy runny around (looked... More
