Authentic Lebanese food and in very generous portions. We couldn't finish the platter we had to share. It's a family-suited restaurant and gets quite noisy on the weekends.

One of the very few places in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro to eat real arab food. If you need just a snack, try another one in Copacabana at Galeria Menescal, also a Historical Site in Rio.
Good food, but i am actually not into that kind of food.... But the people who work there are very atentious and caring.
This is a very nice little Lebanese place in the heart of Copacabana. Plenty of outdoor seating, great service, and great food. We had a combination platter and the lamb kebob for a party of five. The kibbeh is awesome, grape leaves were excellent. Everything else was good with the exception of the shawarma, which was poor -- overcooked and...

We had lunch as the various Middle East style dishes were all very good and somewhat exotic when it came to food combination. Good size portions and great service in an relax atmosphere. Nice to get a little bit away from the beach itself. Recommended.
The food here was ok, the portions were massive, however the service was absolutely appalling and I personally would not go back because of this. A quick bite to eat turned out to be a 2hr meal. The atmosphere was ok, the place is desparate need of renovation! Only upside to this evening was that it was a cheap meal!!!
We ordered the mixed grill, and it was amazing! It can definitely feed more than two people, so I'd recommend having at least four friends share this. The meat was delicious and the salad that came with it had a very unique and delectable spice to it. I'd go for some right now, if I could!
To preface this review, 99.9% of the restaurants I've visited have either been "wonderful!" or "not bad". I don't remember the last time I disliked a restaurant, but Amir's takes the 0.01%! Where to begin? First and foremost, I VERY rarely get any stomachaches whatsoever -- I don't remember the last time I did, but after the experience at Amir's,...

It is great arab food - even though you might think that the prices are a bit high, the plates are HUGE! So you definitely get what you pay for. They have great options for vegetarians as well as for carnivores. Come early because it is busy and maybe that is why the staff is inattentive to you. Some will...

Comfortable restaurant, excelent food, well-served plates, just across Avenida Atlantica on Copacabana Beach. The furniture and decoration make the right environment for an arab restaurant. On friday evenings there are bellydance shows. The best arab restaurant in town.
