The ambiance is nice, there is a very large selection of cocktails. Dishes are quite original, combinations of known dishes with their own toutch. Overall a nice dinner but a bit expensive (200 Reals for 2 P).

I had a great experinece at Zaza Bistro. Located in impanema, the funky bistro has a great atmosphere (reminded me of nyc restaurants) and very good food. We ordered the scampi and chicken curry (which many people seem to like) and the normando fish, all of which were very good. The entrees range from R50-60 (Brazilian real) which is pricey...

This was such a nice change to the rodizio restaurants and buffets. The pork ribs appetizer and chicken curry dish were awesome. Spicy green apple martini was fun to try too - hot hot! We didn't have reservations, but sat at the bar and ended up getting a table when there was a no-show. We got lucky, would def make...

We came on a Sunday evening, and where glad we had a reservation. The atmosphere is really nice & cozy, and the terrace as well as inside it's decorated with attention to detail.
While the staff in general seemed to be very nice & friendly, the young lady who served our table was rather stiff, and almost unfriendly. Nevertheless, food...

Came here as a couple and we had excellent cocktails (I recommend the Wallpaper cocktail which is cachaça, passion fruit juice, vanilla sugar and hot pepper sauce). There's a host of others on the menu that look great too. We had the lamb with potato ravioli and the Zaza chicken curry, both very good. The lamb was super tender and...

For our last day in rio we followed tripadvisors recommendation and we were not disappointed. The food is really delicious and also the restaurant itself has its flair. It is just quite expensive and really crowded by tourists. We just heard english speaking peeps.
The food is very good and not that expensive. The ambiance is very cozy. Not located in a busy street, it add to the cozyness.
Had a delicious meal at Zaza with my young adult daughters. Starting with some lovely craft cocktails and moving on to wonderful seafood entrees, topped with a great chocolate desert with a lemon sorbet chaser, the room is warm and unpretentious, the staff attentive and English-friendly. Very nice block in Ipanema. My reais were well spent.
Place was recommended by my son who was studying in Rio. the food was great and plentiful. Sat outside and took in the wonderful sights and sounds on Rio at night.
Our guide recommended this restaurant, and we really enjoyed it. We ate on the porch. The food was great. I had the chicken curry. My husband had a fish dish. All very spicy and delicious. I highly recommend it.
