Nice place for a quiet dinner in Rio. It's a French restaurant in the heart of Rio. Quiet and the food is good.

I was a fan of this bistro for some time, started frequenting the first one that opened up in São Paulo over ten years ago. Now they have many locations, and for that reason quality and service has gone down … way down. Service is usually surly and dismissive – at least in two of the locations that I normally...

Please know that your message has been passed along for the consideration of the owners. In the meantime, I'd be very grateful if you could e-mail me at gabrielasampaio AT levin.com.br, as it...

We had the most wonderful Velentine dinner at Le Vin in Ipanema. As we live in southern France we know what French food should be like. Some restaurants in Rio have French names but the food is no why near French quality. Le Vin is the first French restaurant I have been to in Brazil that actually serve food that...

Each time I come to Rio de Janeiro I make a reservation at LE VIN, special place for me. My fellow partners enjoy their meals as well but for me it is always the same receipt "oysters from Santa Catarina". I reserve my table on the left side when entering the restaurant and have a nice view on other visitors...

Dear Carlos,
We're very glad to know you have been to Le Vin many times and have always enjoyed it. The oysters are a favourite amongst our clients indeed and are freshly sent from Santa Catarina to our restaurants every other day.
Thank you for your time and reccomendation. We hope to se you around soon.

I was eager to try Le Vin Bistro as I had heard a lot about it. My friends and I had a good dining experience: efficient and friendly service, good food (the steak tartare was really exquisite), nice wine and a cozy atmosphere with an outdoor area. The prices were a little too high on our opinion. We are used...

Great food and service and nice setting. A nice option for french cuisine and one of the few restaurants in the area where you can get oysters.

Highly recommend this French bistro for a romantic dinner! The food was absolutely delicious on both nights that me and my boyfriend went. Had the Fish of the day with mustard sauce and potatoes and it was mouth watering good! Great wine list, dessert and coffee as well!

This restaurant is extremely overpriced. We had two mediocre salads, one glass of simple wine, one coffee and two small bottles of mineral water, and we had to pay 185 reais (about US$ 105). Worst dining experience in Rio de Janeiro.
Dear Paul B,
We're sorry to hear you were not impressed by Le Vin. Our aim is to serve top quality French bistrot food and in order to do so we choose only the finest ingredients and this cost reflects on our prices.
