If you want to escape from the Mangai-Nau monopoly this should be a good option. The lunch "quilo" buffet is somewhat limited in variety but quality compensates it. Fish, shrimp, risotto, all are great. Lots of locals (middle class and up) have lunch there. About R$ 45 (USD 23) per kg.

The ambience is very posh but the food is worthwhile(try the shrimp in the pumpkin). And for cigar smokers, there is a garden where you can enjoy your habana!
