The first time I've ever eaten seafood was in Alguidares - and I couldn't stop since then. Food is always perfect and the service is flawless.
I strongly recommend the "Muqueca de Camarão" (a typical Bahia dish with shrimps) - which is undescribable (the "half portion" is enough for me and my boyfriend). To drink, try the "Caipisurpresa".

The food is great. Price is too high. Ambient is regular. Service is regular too (for example, asked for a bottled water. It came with a dirt in glass. Asked waiter to change it and she only changed the glass hehehe)
Truth is: food is great but price is too high. Is it a place for tourists see waiters in bahiana costume, and enjoy the food. Price for 2 persons was US$110, R$220.
This is actually my favorite bahian food restaurant outside Bahia. Great environment, great price, great food, lobsters, fish, pepper, sauces. Amazing.
