We stopped for dinner on a Saturday night. There was a bit of a wait (maybe a little over half-an-hour) so we had cocktails first. My martini was perfect; and I was able to get it with Mark's wonderful homemade pickled mushrooms, which were also available for sale. We both ordered the French onion soup which was amazing For my... More

We ordered Haddock and deep fried chicken yesterday. Fish was stinking and tasteless, chicken was far from being juicy and was very thin. Prices were misleading as well. Will never go there again.

Wow! Food was superb! From the Steaks (cooked to perfection) to the Shrimp (which were huge!) to the Chicken Cordon Bleu. EVERYTHING was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Gotta try the Sauerkraut Balls! Who would've thought?? Keep it up I sure will be back.

I've been to Mark's several times for lunch and just recently for dinner. The lunches there have always been very good. I especially like the soup/salad bar that they have at lunch. This recent dinner was planned in advance so our group of 5 had a reservation. We spent a half hour in the bar area having drinks and conversation.... More

I have been a once a month Friday night fish and many business lunches of Marks. Food good, price reasonable, expensive drinks. Last Friday I arrived at 5:30 and was not too crowed compared to some Fridays. After an hour I asked how much longer they thought on my number. They said 2 more numbers before me. Well, after another... More

The service is incredible. Normally we only go there once a year for our daughters birthday, and the server always remembers us. Tonight we went there to entertain a friend that came into town. So our party of 17 made reservations yesterday, and they had no problems with a group of our size. We were great by our "regular once... More

I'd give it 5 stars, but the servers were all way too busy. Had three servicing us, had to flag one down just to get another water. Great food, tried the saurkraut balls- excellent. I had the seafood platter, liked the Cod the best, even over the perch. The cod is 12.99 AUCE on Friday's, I will get that next... More

We wanted to experience an authentic Wisconsin supper club and this place really delivered! When we arrived around 7:30 pm on a Saturday night we were told there was a 45 minute wait (we did not have reservations) so we had some drinks and appetizers in the bar while we waited. The place was clearly decorated in the mid-1980s so... More

Went on a Friday night, right after work, probably arrived at 5:20. We were told the wait would be 45 minutes, but after getting a drink at the crowded bar, we were seated in 30 minutes. Others that arrived 10 minutes after us, did not get seated for an hour. We asked for a menu at the bar, bartender said... More

This is a "must dine" location when in Appleton. The food is always fresh and well prepared, He has the best french onion soup I have ever had.The only problem I have ever encountered at Mark's is deciding what to eat....Which just causes me to eat there multiple times during my visits to Appleton! Whether it is lunch or dinner... More
