During our stay in villas trancoso we had the pleasure to meet wonderful people and taste delicious food while relaxing in the most charming villas ever seen in Trancoso! Personally I loved to meet and talk not only with the staff but also with the amazing guests that luckily stayed at the same time we did. People from all over... More

Where to start in describing a full day of gastronomical delights. The day begins with a breakfast buffet of Brazilian pastries and fresh fruit, steamed milk and delicious coffee, fresh fruit juices, and, if you're in the mood, an omelet or breakfast sandwich made to order. Lunch presents a myriad of choices, including a killer Brazilian steak appetizer, a variety... More

Of course I am from the US and I wanted to try as much International and Brazilian favorites that I could and I was not disappointed. The slow cooked beef, chicken and pork were to "die for." The sea food was unbelieveable. Traditional I do not care for Lobster and in the US I still do not, but the lobster... More

Really enjoyed the spicy prawns and the thai salad here - it is probably the best place down that end of the beach, and they seemed fine about non quests coming for lunch where they had space

The restaurant by the pool area is great, but I love eating on the beach....same menu, and awesome service!

The food at the Villas is unbelievable! They have a great variety. If you want to try the traditional Bahian food you can or you can order an american hamburger. The seafood was amazing! Largest coconut shrimp I have ever had! My husband ordered them multiple times! The bartenders are great also! They can perfect any kind of drink you... More

6 of us ate at the Villas de Trancoso hotel in Trancoso. The place is one of the most beautiful hotels in this area (technically not a hotel, but still gorgeous). It is a beach front property, and the restaurant is across a perfectly manicured grass garden and a white marble pool, all very nice and elegant, and yet very... More

The smells, the spices, the presentation, and the taste cannot be beat. We went to other restaurants in the area, but none compared to the variety and quality provided at the Villas Restaurant. The staff works so well as a team. The servers are in sync with the chefs and the bartender – all with a keen eye on exceeding... More

We had most of our meals at the Villas with a few trips to the Quadrado - an outdoor area with a dozen restaurants. The meals at the Villas were terrific and varied - fresh seafood and traditional Bahian style without heavy sauces or overdone. Breakfast was lots of fresh fruit and pastries with excellent tapioca pancakes - a first... More

Having traveled all over the world, I keep coming back to the Villas of Trancoso. The chefs prepare everything from Brazilian fare to American hamburgers to beach fiestas. Breakfast includes multiple pastries, coffees, local fruits and juices, and many egg dishes. Service is first class (and everyone knew my name). You'll never have to leave the premises!
