The place is very casual and the food is really tasty (I ordered the octopuss vinaigrette and it was not only great, but also huge!).
The beer chasers here are great: lots of different "finger food" portions to choose from, all good. The one downside (the reason I did not give it 5 stars) is that there is only bottled beer, but no draft beer... That's a pity, because the warm weather in Salvador begs a "chope" (draft beer).

The food is great (ask for the spinach with grated cheese), the prices are low, it is in a windy alley; great for warm nights, very, very simple (plastic tables and chairs).
Great atmosphere on the street in bohemian Rio Vermelho. Perfect for drinks but the food is totally overpriced.
It looks like a very old, and bad kept place by the outside, and not that bad by the inside... and terrific after the food arrives! The prices are not the best, but you get a big portion to compensate. The food is terrific, and this place was elected one of the best restaurants in Salvador. An hidden gem! If...
